BEST FRIENDS AGAIN
QUALIFICATION CRITERIA

In order to qualify to bid in the Best Friends Again auctions, you must meet all of the following conditions:

  • You must be at least 21 years of age and be able to form legally binding agreements
  • You must have a living dog from which your veterinarian can obtain a viable tissue sample, or have already gene banked viable tissue from a live or deceased dog. Please note that we cannot clone pets by using saliva, teeth, nails, blood, or fur.
  • We also require a bank reference that will confirm your ability to pay for this service, with available cash, assets, or credit line of at least $250,000.
  • Each approved bidder must agree to the auction terms and conditions

You will be asked to verify the data above during the Registration process. BioArts International will contact you if your application is approved, and provide you with additional information to prepare for the auction.

If you have a living dog, BioArts will work with you and your veterinarian to arrange for the collection and shipping of your dog’s tissue sample via our VetKit, a precision engineered tissue shipper. If you are pre-approved for the auction, you must provide to us information about the animal for which the cloning service would be performed, including name, species, breed, health and gender, and information about your veterinarian including name, clinic name, address, and phone and fax numbers. BioArts will keep any information you provide to us in strictest confidence.

Upon winning the auction, you agree to pay the full amount of the winning bid, plus a non-refundable 10% internet bidding Buyer’s Premium (which goes to the bidding company and auctioneer, not to BioArts), via wire-transfer to a Wells Fargo Client Trust account, or by certified cashier’s check.

BioArts reserves the right to award a cloning slot to the second highest bidder if the winning bidder fails to comply with the terms and conditions of the auction, such as by failing to remit payment to BioArts by the payment deadline. In the event that a given bidder unintentionally wins two auctions due to the disqualification of a higher bidder, the winning bidder will be given the option of EITHER dropping out of the second auction that he or she won OR purchasing BOTH cloning slots for the aggregate hammer price of both auctions (plus aggregate buyer's premium.)

If you meet these criteria, you may register now.
